All you need to know about gym workout
Time is hard to come by and I am pretty sure not everyone has all the time in the world to do a gym workout. That is why it is very important for you to make full use of your time for every gym workout session. You need to get most of your exercise routine done in the least amount of time so you still have time left to take care of things that are more important to you than a gym workout session. The best gym workout is the one that burn calories and build up your muscles at the same time. Therefore, if you are serious about your gym workout, resistance training will probably be your best bet.
There are so many machines in the gym. You have the treadmill and the bike to help you with your cardiovascular workouts and the stairmaster which builds up your leg muscles and improves your cardiovascular rate at the same time. However, that is not satisfactory because you need a more comprehensive workout that covers the cardio, lower muscles and upper muscles into one.
The solution to this problem is the rowing machine. I know it is no longer popular nowadays but it works very well. Find an instructor to help you if needed. If you work the machine properly, you will be able to increase your heart rate and build your arm, leg and core muscles. Make sure you push hard with your legs, exploding through the middle of your stroke, then lean back while keeping the wire taut. This will work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes and abs. Next, pull back on the grip to work your forearms, triceps, lats and pecs. Doing this, you will be pushing your heartrate up to its maximum fat burning rate!
You should repeat this gym workout for about 20 to 30 minutes. After that, you should stretch. Stretching after every gym workout session is of utmost important to avoid muscle cramp. Start with your legs and stretch for 30 seconds. Your focus should be on your calves. Then, work on your arms. Stretching in itself is not a very difficult exercise. You should be able to do it on your own but if you need help, never hesitate to ask an instructor. Finally, gym workout must be seen as something fun and enjoyable and not as a burden. Take it as a chance to improve your body.
